FIFA 20 adds some exciting new playing grounds for Ultimate Team and career modes. Although Estadio da Luz isn’t included in this title, many other exotic sporting locations are. Here are some of the best of those.
Ataturk Olimpiyat Stadi
While this national stadium of Turkey doesn’t have a home team, it has hosted games played by great clubs like Sivasspor, Basaksehir and others. Many Liverpool fans remember it fondly as the site of the 2005 “Miracle of Istanbul,” their team’s most miraculous comeback.
This is the home of Premier League’s Sheffield United, which was constructed in 1855. Other Premier League playing fields, like Carrow Road and Villa Park, remain in the game from earlier times.
Harrison, New Jersey’s Red Bull Arena
One of two Red Bull arenas in FIFA 20; the other one being the host arena of RB Leipzig. This one, opened in March 2010, is home to the New York Red Bulls and holds up to 25,000 fans. It’s currently the third-largest soccer-dedicated arena in the U.S.
Although it failed to make it into FIFA 19, it’s been added to this year’s FIFA. Located in Baden-Wurttemberg, it hosts Hoffenheim and seats 30,000 fans.
Located in Cologne, Germany, it’s home to local Bundesliga team FC Koln and can hold nearly 50,000 people. With this addition, only four elite German stadiums are missing: FC Bayern (a PES 2020 exclusive); Freiberg; Paderborn; and Union Berlin.
